This slipper may be bigger than me,
but it's still a slipper, and I'm still a puppy!
Applying for a Puppy from
Flashingstar
We feel very fortunate to have been blessed with the pitter patter of furry little feet in our home for so many years. Our Pomeranians have brought so much joy and companionship into our lives, and we truly appreciate being able to share this gift with other dog fanciers, whether seasoned Pomeranian lovers or those who are new to this enchanting little breed. If you are interested in applying for a puppy from our next available litter, we would love to speak with you and assist you in making an educated decision about the right choice of a dog for your family. Puppies live with us until they are at least 6 months of age. We feel that this is in the best interests of our puppies; to help them get a good start in life both socially, and nutritionally. Because of this early nurturing, you can be assured of getting a puppy that is healthy, happy, well-socialized and house trained!
Our Commitment to Our Puppies
As you can imagine, we become very attached to our little furry children! While we want to provide exceptional puppies to loving, responsible families, our first priority is in providing a loving, responsible family to our puppies! If it seems like we are giving you the "fifth degree" when you apply for a puppy - we are! We take careful measures to ensure that each puppy is placed in the very best home environment possible. We look for families who are knowledgeable about the responsibilities that go along with owning a Pomeranian puppy, and who are ready to commit to providing a forever home. There should be someone at home during the day to care for and play with the puppy. Families should be aware of the nutritional and veterinary costs involved in dog ownership, and have the resources to match. Finally, and most importantly, each family must be ready to continue the love, care and pampering that has been provided by us.
To Apply for A Puppy
If you are interested in applying for one of our puppies, please send us an e-mail or call us at (613) 283-8966 (10 am to 10 pm EST, please). We will be happy to speak with you, and can let you know about puppy availability, prices, shipping and other details. We look forward to hearing from you!
A Word About Small Children
Pomeranians are NOT a good choice for families who have small children, under the age of 8. Pomeranian puppies are small and delicate, easily injured by well-meaning toddlers or younger children. They may look like adorable stuffed toys, but they are flesh and blood and bone, and can easily break a leg by being dropped, receive internal injuries by being hugged and mauled by a small child, or injure or lose an eye by having a toy thrown at them.
I have a very strict policy regarding placement of my puppies; NO SMALL CHILDREN. I take my responsibilities as a breeder very seriously. Any puppy that I bring into the world can be assured of being placed only in the best possible home environment. No exceptions. I hope that you can understand and support my reasons for having this policy.
Sincerely,
Marie Jacques
